Samsung’s new multimedia mobile AP covers a broad scale of powerful multimedia features. It incorporates multi-format CODEC as dedicated hardware. Samsung’s unique circuit design technology realizes SD-class media performance of 30fps, 4-times higher performance over conventional mobile APs. Moreover, its MTCMOS technology lowers standby mode power consumption rate by 60 percent.The new enhanced multimedia AP adopts TrustZone, a powerful security feature suitable for mobile gadgets that require advanced data security.

Furthermore, matched with Samsung’s advanced memory solutions, the new multimedia AP can be tailored into a PoP (Package on Package) solution. A 1Gb OneNAND, 512Mb mobile DDR SDRAM and multimedia mobile AP will be available in a PoP solution in the second half of 2006 for PDAs, PMPs, smartphones, mobile TVs and navigation systems.
