Post S60 Platform: Log Example 
This C++ application demonstrates the usage of the Log Engine API provided by Symbian. The API is used to record events of interest to the user, of which they may not be immediately aware, or which are of high importance since costs are incurred, such as telephone calls. These events can be retrieved by a viewer application and displayed to the user. The Log Engine API is supported from S60 2nd Edition onwards.
