Hi Everyone,

Does any of you know why i am unable to change my fonts on my Nokia 7610. My Firmware is v6.0525.0ch

I have tried all kinds methods with sis and gdr format but none of them work =(

I had a noia 6600 before and i could change the fonts but i really don't understand why i can't on my Nokia 7610.

Anyone who knows the problem?? Pls Help me...

Hello,if you've done all the procedures in changing the font correctly and it's still not working then i dont know what to suggest,sorry.

could it be because of the version used?

Did you apply the new font in a new font folder in c/system then re-boot the phone?

yup i did.. exactly to the tutorial that i found on the link..

Oh nevermind it's ok then, It's a problem i been trying hard to solve myself too but it also seems nothing can be done. Anyway Thanks alot,you have been a great help! =)

dont hurt urself trying darin..
iv got 7610 also..
and the font wont change..
it will only change in certain places..
eg in FXplorer (if u got one), in the screensaver (date and time), numbers u type when dialing, etc..

Does that happen with every font or just the one font?

the 7610 has its own thin default font, (in menu, messaging, notes etc) dont know what's its name, and this one will not change..

but in some places (fxplorer, screen saver, dialed no.s etc), we'll find bold font like those in 6600, 6630, 6680 etc..

this bold one is the one which will change if we install new fonts..

i think if u browse the Z folder in the fxplorer u'll find these 2 default fonts.. maybe by deleting the thin one and pasting the bold one on it, this will change all the font into the bold one.. then maybe we'll solve this some-places-can-some-places-cannot problem..

however many discourage me to do this, what do u think..
