Here's a nice new N series style font!

Hi Mr G.

Thanks for the download. I am having some difficulties in getting the fonts to appear in my N70. I try all the ways inside the tutorial. such as font remover, creating a sub folder in the C: system/fonts.
after that re-boot to see the effect.
however, there is NO effect at all. I am very disappointed. because the default N70 fonts is slim and ugly. How can i change the font?
Any helper here?

Can you reply with everything you are doing then i can see if you are doing something wrong.

Thanks for your prompt.
Currently, I am using "SW_Summer_by_Altantis" theme in my N70.
My steps as follow: (Pls correct me if any of the steps are wrong)
1) I have already installed FExplorer and Font Remover.
2) I Copied the Font "niimai_nseries.gdr" inside my E:\others
3) I used Font Remover to remove the fonts in my system.
4) However, I did not reboot the phone immediately.
5) I went to FExplorer and create a sub folder(fonts) in c:\System
6) Then I copied the "niimai_nseries.gdr" into c:\System\Fonts
7) Afterwhich I reboot my phone to see the effect. However, there is no effect at all.
SO, I used another method. I tried to rename the font file after I copied to c:\system\Fonts to 11x12_latin.gdr. but it does not allow me to do it. As it prompt me that file name already exists.

So these are the few steps that I have been repeating again and again.
Is there anything wrong with the step?

I'm really sorry i cant help you mate as you are doing everything correctly,it's very puzzleing as to why its not applying the font.

Perharps could it be the version of the OS that causes such problem?

I wonder if anybody have the same problem as mine?!

I have tried out other fonts. But still unable to change the font.
however, I think we could do a synchronise and do a test.
Can you upload your current theme and font to me.
so that I can try it out...... cheers!

I'll upload the font i'm using later but it's nothing to do with the theme thats applied.
