i have tried to download the following themes onto my nokia n95 and also to my nokia n80 and it says not supported.

bipasha basu ; katie price ; nell mcandrew ; sandy ash

most of the other themes show 'expired certificate'

how do you apply .sis files onto your mobile???

Change your phone date to 2006 before you install, after install change again to the correct date.

thank you supertonic for your advise. i changed the date on my N95 to 28/04/2006 and then tried to download all the .sis themes and they dont work . the message still remains .sis not supported.

i have been to nokia website and symbian forums and still not recieving any joy.

i am able to gather that symbian (i do have the latest version of software) should support .sis files and yet this isnt the case.

i desperately need bipasha basu theme on my N95.

Please do assist further.

Check these themes, both are created by me and i know, that many people with a N95 used them. It's only to test so we can see if there comes also an error.

firstly, thank you for your prompt reply. its very well appreciated. i have managed to download both themes successfully on my phone. I have noticed they are .sis themes. on this note i would like to mention that i was also able to to download one other .sis theme from bugatti240_y1.sis successfully.

Like i said i have been to the symbian website and also the nokia website and have done my head in. If anybody can help im sure it is you..................................

Just tested one of your needed files.

The problem is, these files are ".zip" . Here in the forums exits some threads about problems (no access) with .zip files.
We thought (MR G amd I), that all .zip and .rar files need now "rights" to download.

So only the "people" which have access to the host can do it (set the correct rights for download).

so who would the 'people' be and what would be the 'host' (who can set download rights).

my phone comes from orange network. they have got the handset from nokia who use symbian as a software.
would that mean that i need to speak to nokia who would then speak to orange or would i need to speak to nokia who would talk to symbian and symbian thereto look into their software and possibly come up with an updated version?

your site provides excellent services and for that matter free of charge. the fault lies with nokia who cannot give out plenty of theme options and choices and then bar rights to have themes downloaded.......would you agree?

please advise my next course of action or shed some important advise to my comments.

hello folks. i have spoken to nokia at length. they confirm the models 6680 N80 and N95 support certain .sis files and dont support certain .sis files. they are not able to establish or advice on which are supported or not however they said if i was to talk to the theme creater they would make the same theme in another format rather than .sis or ensure they havent zipped .sis (having an unzipping to uncompresfiles dosent help here).

wow....am i getting too confused now. surely yes !

they also say that you may allude that themes are compatible with certain models whilst in really honesty they arent.

so what is what .........

wish an early response.

Further to all our discussions and your advise, you kindly provided me with a link http://files.myopera.com/Cinotrepus/files/S1svg_yI.sis. This theme is for Nokia N95. I must admit that it looks great on my phone and wonder of all wonders i was actually able to download this .sis file (please note i have never been able to downloas any other .sis file on my phone).

This theme hasa blend of red and plum matching the handset. The only setback is that i dont like  the font. I am a keen admirer of verdana font 9.

Please can you advise me how i could change the font on this theme to verdana whilst retaining the theme or is it possible for you to do the same and provide a link.

I look forward to your expertise advise and quick reply. Keep up the good work and im sure you will compliment this wonderful site with more great Nokia N95 themes.

It's not possible to change the fonts in the theme studio, only the colour.

There exits some threads here in the forum about changing fonts on 3rd edition devices.
